Churchill’s Athletic Coordinator, Coach Glenn Hill, and CSA will be hosting a “future Chargers” orientation event on May 12, 2012 at the Churchill Athletic Facility, in conjunction with the annual "Drive One 4 UR School" fundraiser, sponsored by Jordan Ford.   

The purpose of the event is to welcome the incoming Freshman families to Charger Sports, let them tour the Athletic Facility, meet the coaches, meet some of the upper classmen and fellow teammates, listen to music, eat a hot dog, etc.  The event is also open to 6th and 7th grade athletes who are interested in attending Churchill High School in the future.

There will be three sessions, one for Fall, Winter and Spring sports, with a “welcome” speech/presentation from Coach Hill at the beginning of each sessions, plus breakout briefings by each head coach for each sport. The "Soon 2B Chargers" will then be given a guided tour of the facility by their sport-specific head coach and some of the upper classmen athletes.

This event was a HUGE success last year, thanks to the best coaches and best volunteers on the planet!  And thanks to Jordan Ford for sponsoring the fundraising portion of the event.  They presented CSA with a BIG check ($5,900) at our Meet the Chargers pep rally last August!  All proceeds benefited the student athletes at Churchill High School.
