“MEET THE CHARGERS” is an annual event hosted by CSA to kick off the season for ALL SPORTS for the new school year. It is held on Saturday night, right before school starts. MTC welcomes Churchill students back to school with a PEP RALLY that honors all Varsity sports teams by introducing them and their coaches. Our awesome Band, ROTC, Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Drill Team, and Pep Squad all perform to energize and entertain with CHARGER SPIRIT and to show off the efforts of their hard work all summer long! Over 2000 people attend this event, making it one of, if not THE, largest pep rally in NEISD.

Dinner is catered by Fuschak’s Pit BBQ -- brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and tea. Tickets are available at most extra-curricular events and parent meetings during the summer, including New Parent Orientation, Prep Days, etc., and through Sports Reps, Band/Spirit Directors.

And there is always plenty of Charger items to buy, including LOTS of new spirit wear, so make sure to bring your checkbook! Bring your family and friends for a fun CHARGER evening! If you are a “seasoned” Churchill Charger, you know what Meet the Chargers is all about – an event not to be missed!
