Wow! What a year 2010-11 was for Churchill Athletics! Every single UIL athletic team made it to the District Play Offs. And six teams advanced to the State Play Offs -- Cross Country (Girls), Golf (Boys & Girls), Swimming (Boys & Girls), and Wrestling! AND, we had more student athletes who made UIL Academic All-District than any other school in Texas!
Without a doubt, we owe most of the thanks to our talented and dedicated coaches and staff. At the same time, they would all agree that a key factor in the success of Churchill Athletics is attributed to the strong support given by the Charger Sports Association (CSA).
We are now having our 2011-12 Membership Drive and we sincerely request your financial support. These donations are extremely vital to the success of our Athletic Programs. Between Membership donations and the other fundraising activities mentioned above, CSA was able to give $63,000 to the Churchill Athletic Program last year. Our goal for 2011-12 is $80,000. We need your financial and voluntary support more than ever before in order to succeed in the highly competitive District 26-5A.
